Join our team! MARS is currently hiring for three positions:

  • Oregon Spotted Frog Egg Mass Surveyor - MARS seeks four candidates to join a team conducting daily transect surveys for Oregon Spotted Frog egg masses on Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Applications due December 22.

  • Fuels, Forestry, & Fire Crew Crewmember - We are hiring for our 2025 Stewardship Crew! This stellar crew completes a variety of fuels management, forestry health & general stewardship tasks on public and private lands as well as on MARS-owned Community Forest land. Applications due December 31.

  • Prescribed Fire Coordinator - This full-time, year round position will help expand prescribed fire usage in the south Mt. Adams region by coordinating the Mt. Adams Prescribed Burn Association, Columbia Gorge TREX, and other prescribed fire activities at MARS. Open until filled, with a preferred starting date in February or March 2025.
